Sometimes I listen to other great pianists past and present, while scrolling around on Youtube like all of us, and then I get to Yuja, and I stop. It's the whole package, the clarity, the touch. the musicality of the phrasing. Oh my goodness!

Every time I watch Yuja Wang perform, any of my feelings of anger or despair toward the world disappear, as I realize how grateful I am to be able to witness such artistry as this.

Her artisty is astounding and the piano is voiced perfectly for these pieces.

Her fingers seemed to possess a magical touch, infusing the piano with life, coaxing from it the most enchanting and melodious music.

She is absolutely phenomenal! And I think Chopin would not have been satisfied until he saw fingers and arms flying from the pianist's body. I have no words.

Chopin is the epitomy of lyricism: His music calls for the finest and most delicate touch on the piano keys, and a reflective air. To use Karl Gustav Jung's terms, Chopin is an introvert. Yuja Want is an extrovert. She is bursting vigor. There is even something agressive in her touch. She often attacks the piano keys. She is wonderful in stormy music, and a great virtuoso. As a Chopinist, I love Valentina Igoshina.

Yuja is incredible. She doesn't go overboard. Her interpretation is so precise and touching at the same time.

I get so excited whenever I see a new major performance of hers on YouTube. We all have an incredible opportunity to watch this artist as she grows and matures in her playing and expands her repertoire. Looking back decades from now, we'll be able to know that we witnessed something truly special.

For me it's no difficulty to admire great art and the beauty of nature at the same time.

Exquisite clarity of notes, no blurring. The phrasing is very eloquent.

Yuja Wang has only one person to measure with in the world of classic music, Yuja herself, no one else to compare with so uniquely talented she is, a kind of lonely situation which is the currency of most great artists. What a marvellous gift to humanity for everyone to hear and see her playing, it gives hope in a world of hopeless politics saturated with interminable social conflicts.

attending such a performance in Paris in 2017.03.27 was a pure and true enjoyment. I felt embarked in heaven. She acts exactly as she advises young pianists : "Go with the flow, be creative, transcend to something more cosmic." The 21 is jazzy.

I had a chance to tour this opera house a couple of years ago when I was in Venice. It was burnt down and rebuilt. I wish I was there in this recital. Never know Chopin's Preludes played as a whole can be this fabulous, this profound. The acoustic is so good. The performance is absolutely out of this world. A Chinese girl playing Polish music this good was unthinkable 30 or 40 years ago. Just close your eyes if you want (or if you can), and you will hear how sublime the music is.
