Got to meet George Forman at a charity event one time when I was working as a waiter. Genuinely one of the most humble, nicest people I met at any of those events. A true legend.

I love both of these men. They were true warriors. Man those were the good old days.

I felt sorry for Joe here. This is the one style he just couldn’t overcome. What a brave man though to stand up to that kind of beating. Joe’s heart was bigger than the entire stadium.

You don’t see a clinch in this match, pure warriors 🙌🏼

Frazier had a much better showing compared to their first outing. Respect to both legends!

Frazier was done after the thrilla in Manila. That fight took a lot out of him. Even though I don’t think even Frazier at his best would not be able to beat foreman. Frazier had the wrong style for a tremendous puncher.

Big George was seriously hammering Frazier at the end, connecting several huge powerful lefts and rights to the face. In fact, the last shot to the face, Frazier was out cold before he even hit the canvas.
Wow!! And as most Frazier fans know, Joe can take some massive punches to face and he always just keeps coming! But big George stopped him dead in his tracks, knocking him clean out before he ever even hit the deck. Damn! George had some serious power.

Joe was slipping punches effectively, doing a really good job making Foreman miss, but not making him pay on the back-end with counterpunches to the body off those slips. He was too worried about Foreman's power to hang in there and do what he needed to do to soften him up.

Listen, Frazier will always get my respect. The man had the heart of a lion to stand in front of George.

Frazier wasn't fighting to win, he was fighting to survive. Big George was overwhelming to Frazier.

It`s often said that Foreman`s opponents made the mistake of staying in front of him. But they are forgetting
that there are some skills that can`t be seen. George Foreman had an almost supernatural ability to "cut off the Ring".
No one did it better.

Foreman's left jab was like a light heavy weight's hardest right hand punch. He had such heavy hands and arms.

Frazier is the only one I’ve seen get right up after Foreman knockdown.

Everybody ask "who would win between Ali vs Tyson??"

the real question is, who would win between Foreman vs Tyson??

and the answer is G. Foreman

and *Ali* had the most beautiful style of boxing without any doubt.
he made box look beautiful, almost like an art

Joe had the heart of a warrior in this fight. Foreman’s reach & power would not be denied.

I grew up (born 1957) as a casual fan of heavyweight boxing, and in particular the main three boxers: Ali, Frazier, and Foreman. I never saw Frazier with his scalp hair shaved off, neither in the ring or out.

An interesting note about these three heavyweights : they won the GOLD medal in the Olympics Heavyweight division in 1960(Ali, Clay), 1964(Frazier), and 1968(Foreman).
