My Philosophy: I love music. I love all kinds of music. And I go into every album wanting to love it, so that’s my starting point for every review. Keep in mind, though, that music is a very personal thing. An album may hit me personally in a very different way than it hits you. That’s complexly natural and unavoidable, which is why I try to include some personal context in my reviews. It’s so you’ll have a better idea where I’m coming from. In the end, it’s still just my personal opinion, which is inherently biased, and which you may or may not agree with. Hopefully, once in a while, we’ll find common ground.

Let's not forget Ringo's 1970 album Beaucoups of Blues. Where he worked with the likes of Jerry Reed. I think it was recorded Nashville. His Nashville jam is one of my favorites.

Collaborating with Billy Strings sounds interesting. He's a wonderful talent, helluva guitar player and very prolific.

You mean the Beatle that sang on the Buck Owens cover "Act Naturally" in 1965, and in 1989 recorded the same song as a duet with Buck Owens? You mean the former Beatles who had one of his biggest solo hits with a cover of Country-Pop singer Johnny Dorsey's "You're Sixteen?" Is this the same guy that released a "Country-influenced" album in 1970 called "Beaucoups Of Blues?"

Yep, Ringo has ALWAYS been country. He was doing Country with The Beatles. If he´d have had his ´drothers, he´d have been doing it all along. John, Paul and George´s ¨heros¨were Little Richard, Buddy Holly, Fats Domino... Ringo´s was Buck Owens.
