I use my Arc 380 for my homeserver, transcoding! Super cheap solution for hardware encoding. Works lovely.

I bought at A770 because it was the best bang for my buck as far as VRAM cards go

I got a 16gb A770 for sub $250, and since I only play on a 120hz 1080p monitor I’ve been thriving. Great deal

Btw Intel Arc got it's drivers work flawleslly and even better than Nvidia's ones in less than 2 months after premiere... on Linux 😅

I love my a770 every driver update improves it maintains a constant 90 fps in most of my games

I agree it’s a excellent GPU but only issue is that amd and nvidia have way higher fps and offer more performance and vram for the price point of intels GPU but the price is extremely affordable for everyone to buy

I built my first PC this year (2025) and chose this card. Seems great to me (I can't comment on how it compares to other cards though). I got it because it was £230, so was in my price range.

Bought the a380 just for AV1 Encoding, absolutely best investment. It’s got the best and most affordable AV1 hardware encoder. Performs just second to CPU AV1 Encoder, but it destroys in speed.

The stability on linux is generally great too, i'd say maybe four games out of a library of 100+ is unplayable, but as usually a fix in lutris exists, or i boot into a cheaper secondary ssd and run windows, which at that point, 100% of games works, but i did notice crazy performance gains and responsiveness boosts in linux, proving it's more efficient to run a translation layer rather than full, regular windows. Perhaps tiny11 or ghost edition peeps can comment on the matter if they own an arc.
