I had class II elastics for a month and one of my front brackets broke (which I didn't know about), and my orthodontist changed my lower wire. She advised me to NOT wear my rubber bands for a month because of the wire change. Could you please help me explain this? :) is this a setback?

I don't have an underbite yet they pit it from bottom to top, what I mean is that it goes opposite. Are they making my overbite worse? 😭
