I used a jar of chicken tonight for dinner. Rice, cream of chicken soup, milk, water, dehydrated spinach, garlic mix and baked for about 20 minutes. Broke up the chicken over top and covered with shredded cheese. Back in the oven for about 10 min.
Looking forward to seeing more ways to use it.

I'm glad to learn it's O.K. to add water or broth to the jars when raw pack pressure canning chicken :-)

Hi Linda. I recently bought a 12 quart Graniteware pressure canner to use for small batch canning. I have a 16 and 23 quart pressure canner too but like the smaller canner for just a few jars. I have a glass top stove so can’t use the AmericanCanner. Maybe the small 10.5 quart would be light enough but why take the chance?

When I thought my husband was coming down with "the rona" he asked me with his sad face if I would fix him some soup. All I had on hand was beef and chicken ramen. I opened up two packs of chicken ramen and threw in a can of my canned chicken. I shredded it up and we BOTH had soup. It was delish.

Hi Linda! I've got super ugly chicken, too! It's been 2 years so I canned a big batch of legs last month. I broiled them suckers front & back just for a few mintues, then I raw packed them. Guess what?? No more ugly chicken! They actually looked pretty good & clear. Ugly or not, they sure taste yummy right outta the jar. 😉

I emptied out the rice and beans from my quart jars. Threw them in a 5 gallon bucket. Gotta can!

I don’t understand why you are raw packing when on several of other of your videos you say that this is not a good method because the meat tastes like tuna.

I was able to buy pint narrow mouth jars for $8.99 from Target. Thought that was a good price since they include rings and lids. I got 4 dozen.

You don't do 15 #'s for meat? Ok just looking in my ball pressure canning book for raw pack thighs for 1 hr 15 minutes, for quarts 1 hr 30 minutes. Now I am confused what I should do.
