Raised Pentecostal and still somehow a Charismatic but now a I serve God in a Lutheran Church. In my view, Lutheranism is by far the most underrated orthodox Christian theological tradition. Those who are more intellectual inclined and are thinking to become Calvinists or Roman Catholics, make sure to take a look at the Evangelical Lutheran Faith and Piety before becoming Calvinists or RCs. Thank You for mentioning the most conservative Lutherans, the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) and, yes, you were right, the Evangelical Lutheran Synod (ELS). A lot of times they get skipped, although we very much endorse your teaching and Missouri Synod's Pastor Bryan Wolfmueller.

Thank you for providing this history of the Lutheran Church. I grew up in the ELCA back in the 60s and we only knew about Luther's challenge to Rome in 1517 and the Diet of Worms.
