The inability of schools to teach students about investments may be the reason why people find it difficult to sustain their financial gains. Managing money is not the same as building riches. Most rich people stay rich by spending like the poor and investing without stopping then most poor people stay poor by spending like the rich yet not investing like the rich but impressing them. People prefer to spend money on liabilities, Rather than investing in assets and be very profitable

I was a popular handyman for rich clients, and I can attest that the number one thing they all did was take big risks on owning things, businesses to real estate. I was never jealous of the luxury and expensive toys they had, because the one thing I had that they didn't is less stress. I think that is why I got along with the rich folks so well - because I am content with my simple life. Plus I am confident I could become rich like them if I tried...just don't want it.
