As they say, “A change in habits leads to a change in life.” Here’s what I’ve observed that rich people do differently. And FYI, they do EVERYTHING differently! Follow their habits, mindset, and action, and you will get the same results.

Rose, you're so awesome. I have actually started stock investing for growth. I also have picked up another job to help pay off bad debts, student loans and to assist my daughter through college. Right now, I'm nowhere near rich. However, I am trending in the right direction. Thank you for sharing your experiences and what you've learned along the way. IDK what's up with these thumbs down reviews, but keep bringing us your truth, honey. I love it.

Rich dad, poor dad changed my entire mindset on how I think about money. I handled money poorly my entire life until a light bulb went off 5 years ago. Each dollar is a worker. Allocate it to an asset where it can generate more. Opportunities today allow for easier ways to invest in things that only people with lots of money were able to. Educating people like you are is key. These types of discussions should happen in schools more.

THANK YOU for your videos! My boyfriend and I now do two "no spend days" per week, stopped eating out unless we are going to happy hour or have a coupon and are currently waiting to buy groceries until we use literally all the groceries we currently have- all thanks to your videos. We've used the extra cash to invest in our futures. Thanks for making a difference!

I can’t quite put my finger on it, but there’s something about your style of presentation that’s really very engaging. Don’t change it! Every time I see one of your videos, I feel like I’ve learned something new.

The part about buying a car for $40, 000 that's worth $40, 000 and immediately losing value. I bought a new car for $20, 000 15 years ago and took 7 years to pay off. My car is now worth about $900 maybe. I didn't know back then. I was poor and didn't have the best credit and they said all the right things to me to make me believe I needed this car. I still have that car and it's worth more than $900 to me and I will drive it as long as I can. I hate car payments and never want one again. I wish they taught this kind of thing when I was in school. Thank you!

The rich
1. Acquire assets
2. Don’t work for a paycheck
3. Talk the language of money
4. Turn their money around quickly
5. Turn debt in their favor
6. See the glass half full

My "a ha" moment was when I realized that Warren Buffet was right about investing after years of picking my own stocks and mutual funds. Just buy market index funds and forget the rest.

The first thing rich people do differently is be kind and trust people. Get along.

If you grow up poor/ harsh/ negative people around you, you get guarded and defensive for good reason.
If you can’t get along, you can’t be successful. Warren Buffet talks about integrity and values because they matter.

When you refer to “poor” what you mean is middle class.
Poor is a whole other level.
Poor people don’t know if they’re going to eat. College is for “rich” people.
I’ve only made it to middle class now. Learning life can be safe and people can be good.

You’re great. I love this channel. My mind is opening up to even more.
Thank you for helping me and everyone watching 🙏

Hey Rose. I love your videos and am learning a lot about finance from you. This one hurt me a little bit to hear you say, "the type of neighborhood with payday loans and fried chicken places on every corner." Ouch. This is some dog-whistle language that reinforces stereotypes and implicit biases. One of the reasons I enjoy your channel so much is because I appreciate getting investment advice from a woman of color. Please think about how to further positive narratives about POC while giving investment advice. It's something lacking in the industry, and I think your audience will be better off for the effort.

I should have heard this message 30 years ago. Finally in my mid-50's I am able to start actually "making" money versus earning money.

Thank you for your videos. I am just an average middle class person who was never told/shown about these kind of things and am now trying to catch up and get ahead. You explain things in a clear and helpful way. Really appreciate you and your channel.

I like the example of "speaking a different language." In addition to this, I find many people will avoid discussing such topics or write them off when you try to share ideas with. Money is a taboo subject for many.

Hi Rose! Love your channel and how you present everything makes so much sense! I’m just starting out on my financial independence and literacy journey & the information that really resonated with me and what I’ve noticed about my life, is that all too often I let fear and being afraid to take risks keep me from the rewards in life that could’ve been for me if I had not let fear control my decisions. So grateful to be unlearning a lot of things now and working towards changing my mindset towards money and taking action rather than letting fear paralyze me.

I learned about Roth IRAS from you and I opened one in March, funding it with an automatic $100 transfer every month (because I'm poor and couldn't afford more) I already have made over 1800 this year, I think that's pretty good. Maybe it's not alot, but it will add up over time and making more than my 401k from work, which is managed by someone the company pays.
