My father is an American Baptist minister with a doctrine in theology. He never preached that the anti-christ was Jewish.

As a Protestant, I was never ever taught that the anti christ would be a Jew. But we were taught not to have statues and images in the church.

First, the Beast is a spiritually wicked and predatory kingdom, not a man. Secondly, the Antichrist doesn't have to say "I am God" in order to "show himself as God." All he has to do is claim to be (or accept the title of) the "savior of humanity." Muslims believe the Mahdi will be the savior. They also say this about Mohammed. This is a DIVINE title according to God.

Isaiah 43:11, 46:9b, “I, even I, am the LORD, and apart from me there is no savior… I am God, and there is none like me.”

It’s not specifically stated he would be a jew.! However Jesus himself tells the Pharisee that though the reject him meaning as they’re messiah? They will accept another who comes in his own name. (Meaning another messiah)And since the Jews believe it can only come by a Jew? It’s implying that anti christ will most likely be Jewish decent.

We are further told, that he will not believe any of what his forefathers believed. Meaning he rejects the faith of the Jewish religion.
