About me:
I am a wife, mom and CRNA (certified registered nurse anesthetist). I went to nursing school to get my ADN, started working and then went back for my BSN. I was a travel nurse for 2 years before starting CRNA school. I loved travel nursing so much but I also love anesthesia so I went back to school to become a CRNA. Fitness is a huge part of my life. I've competed in powerlifting and Crossfit. We are vegan because we are both huge animal lovers. We are also foster parents (awaiting the adoption of our daughter)!

Imagine knowing this is what you want and immediately starting the process after high school. You'd be done and making $200k at 26 years old. I wish I knew what I was doing at 18 lol

I’m excited!!!! I’ve been a CNA for 6yrs and finally finished my prereqs and got my name in the nursing program pool. Now I have two classes left for coreq’s before I can apply for a CEP program to get my BSN.

I wish I had some guidance in high school. I'm 26 now and have my LPN, but it's never too late.

I can’t tell you enough how rewarding it has been following your journey. It definitely encourages me to continue studying for where I want to be. And that no matter what I can keep going.

i love you. like seriously. i’m a junior in high school and i rlly want to become a crna. my dad wants me to be premed but i don’t think that’s the right path for me. i want that work life balance, and i don’t think becoming a doctor will do that for me.

I do have one question,
It’s not necessary for me to get my MSN only BSN?

I’ve been all over the place with what I want for my career. From OB/GYN PA, to Neonatal Nurse, to NP, to Nurse Midwife, to Anesthesiologist and now to CRNA as well. I currently hold my BS in Health sciences and I’m in a dilemma. I’m extremely interested in both babies&Women’s Health AND Anesthesiology, and I’ve told myself that if I settle for one or the other, I’ll probably be content, however, the thought of settling with just one doesn’t sit well with me. Hypothetically speaking, if I were to become a CNM and later decide that I want to go back to school become a CRNA, will I be able to work as a CNM and CRNA at the same time since I’m certified in both roles, assuming scheduling works out? Or would I have to choose to stick to one?

My nursing school is
Anything less than 80% you're dropped from the program.
It's limited access and costs less than other colleges. Direct connect to a big state university.

I have been following your youtube channel since before I start nursing school, love your videos 💞 . This is exactly how I'm planning on doing it, I got my RN license 6 months ago, I have been working in a Medical ICU since then, I started my bachelor online 3months ago and I'm planning to do it in 9months🤞 I am already halfway through the program. As soon as I finish with my bachelor I will get my CCRN and start applying to CRNA school. How much would you advice someone to save before starting CRNA school? I am a single woman with no kids.

Just completed my first semester, and accepted a student nurse extern position in surgery at my local hospital! I'm excited to see how the OR works, and hear a lot of good things about it. Thank you for this video!

For those with another degree you could do prerequisite year one and an accelerated nursing program year 2. Some of the ABSN programs are a little longer than a year but several have multiple start dates throughout the year.

Hi,

Can you make a video talking about the requirements for becoming a CCRN, if it requires a board examination, and how you studied for the board exam/ certification.

Thank you :)
