Surprise, surprise – Rob is thinking about trophies again. So, here he is presenting a list of the 7 Hardest Platinum Trophies You Will Never Unlock. These aren’t just tough – they’re the toughest of the tough. These are the trophies that even the most dedicated trophy hunters will struggle to add to their collection. Which means that Rob definitely doesn’t have them.

On one hand it reinvigorated my love for video games.

RDR2 genuinely is a hard one because the game seems to know when you're trying to complete the compendium, so it'll feel like the specific animal you're looking for has suddenly gone extinct in-game. Crazy, but a beautiful game. Rockstar's finest work imo.

I have the Platinum on RDR2. Honestly, whilst the Gold Medals require some skill and careful planning, I found the hunting requests actually took the longest. You have to find and submit perfect pelts/bodies to that taxidermist lady. Some birds are so uncommon, and then perfect spawns are even less common.

That skipping rope on FF9 is the ONLY reason I'll never platinum that game. Which is a shame since FF9 is one of my favorite FF games. 😢

Here's the thing about Crypt of the Necrodancer: I accidentally stayed up til 8 AM trying to beat, level 2, I think? Then I put down the game and decided I would never play it again.

Just a little funny thing about the BG3 ones...I didn't earn the Action Surge trophy (as displayed at 5:21), but I do have it unlocked. An enemy mind-controlled Lae'zel and as she was beating up another party member, she did five attacks and it popped. I'm very reserved on how I use stuff like Action Surge and the game was like, "Nah, kid. I'mma show you how this works."

After getting the platinum trophy in Witcher 3 back in 2017, I'm now going for the platinum trophy for the PS5 version.

These are so spot on and different in many ways! I always try to study the trophies before playing to measure my chances. Sometimes you can't tell when it's a new game, so I'm playing with the list close to me at least
