You can really boil this down to 3 things: artificiality, immaturity, and disloyalty. Several of these have to do with her trying to look different and fake. Fake nails, fake eyelashes, fake lips, etc. We want a real you. Baby talk, pet names, and playing head games are all immature. This also describes the kind of dependence you'd get from a child. We want you to be okay without our support all the time. And finally, we want to feel like we're the man you want, not some name in the middle of a list. Posting slutty Instagram pics, excessive contact with exes or "guy friends, " make us feel like at any moment, you'd leave and go to the next guy in line. We like to feel like The One, even for a little while.

I'm a man. Here are what men want. Love, honesty, respect, someone who communicates and listens. Men have feelings. Men get hurt. Men need intimacy, both physical AND emotional. Men are not mind readers. Men are not perfect. Just a little effort goes a long way.

The "chasing" point hit home for me in an early relationship that I broke off when I found out she was flirting with another guy. She kept dropping hints that she wanted me back, obviously hoping I would chase after her. When I didn't I found a long letter in my car stating "You have changed". I realized she was right, I had changed.

I threw the letter out and never spoke to her again!

For me, it is her never forgetting the details of the last, and all previous, fights. These details, along with all perceived failings, are dutifully remembered and regurgitated later. "Forgive and forget" is not a thing women seem able to do.

As a man, I completely agree to that list. We are very simple, and so are our friendships between boys.
We like nature, tents, sleeping on a couch and sitting at the camp fire. In short: We like it simple and true. Don't be fake, don't look fake, don't hide behind cosmetics, don't seek attention, treat us as a free person. Be you, trust who you are, accept how you look. Be an interesting and free person. Love yourself. We do, so you should as well.

The thing that attracted me to my wife when we first started out was the fact that she used minimal makeup, no fake nails, and was just up front and honest about what she was looking for and what she needed from me.

This list is absolutely 100% correct and spot on, but you left off one: body modifications (implants or injections of any kind) or excessive piercings.

First time viewer, old guy here. That was a pretty good list, very good in fact. The only thing I'd slightly disagree with is being called 'hubby', which is fine (to me) as long as it's not all the time, but occasionally, no big deal.

I would add an important one, though, we prefer that women communicate more directly about issues and not hint around or assume we should know what's wrong.
