I was on that ship. I’m now (2020) 16 years old, but then I was 8. I really got scared. And just a few days before, I watched Titanic movie. I really thought I’d die. Nice reconstruction :)

I was a senior in high school when this event took place. About three months after the Concordia disaster, the 100th anniversary of the Titanic disaster would be commemorated. About a month after that, I proudly walked out of my high school, with my diploma in hand.

They were so lucky the water wasnt a few meters deeper or the entire ship would have went under in which case the many hundreds of passengers still clining to the wreck above water would have been forced into the water with many likely to have drowned. Which could have meant instead of 32 innocent lives lost it could have been up to 10 times that
