I survived serious domestic violence. Most police do not take it seriously. I had ONE cop that was extremely disturbed by my appearance when they found me. He said it was the worst case he'd seen in 19 years on the force. I ended up having to move away with 1 paycheck. I started over. I survived. God bless this woman and her mother's soul.
