Global Initiative on Sharing All Influenza Data (GISAID) mengumumkan Deltacron, varian baru Covid-19 yang merupakan mutasi Delta dan Omicron. Deltacron merupakan keturunan GK/AY.4 dan GRA/BA.1 yang ditemukan dari beberapa kasus di Eropa serta Amerika Serikat.

GISAID mengimbau masyarakat untuk tidak panik dan terus mengaplikasikan protokol kesehatan yang ketat.

The Global Initiative on Sharing All Influenza Data (GISAID) announced Deltacron, a new variant of Covid-19 which is a Delta and Omicron mutation. Deltacron is a descendant of GK/AY.4 and GRA/BA.1 found from several cases in Europe and the United States.

GISAID urges the public not to panic and continue to apply strict health protocols.
