Dubbed as 'Deltacron,' scientists in Cyprus have detected a strain of Coronavirus that they say combines both Delta and Omicron. As per reports 25 cases of Deltacron have been detected so far.

Well as Mr Leontios Kostrikis has mentioned, out of the 25 samples that Deltacron was detected, several of them were from passengers at the airport.
This basically confirms that Deltacron may have been discovered in Cyprus but it is already all around the world.
Dr Kostrikis specifically said that for example Deltacron was directed in samples from passengers that arrived to Cyprus from Israel and Colombia and some other countries.
So Cyprus is not the ground zero of the variant but rather the first to detect it.

Basically....its already out there around the world guys. Don't blame us Cypriots. In fact someone brought it to Cyprus in the first place.
