At the beginning, I was terrified how everyone looked creepy, but at the end, I was terrified how true is it

The way they animated this is absolutely terrifying

This is an excellent short film about greed, consumerism, and scientific progress.

I love the animation style, it’s so unnerving with its realistic features and irregular movement, it gives quite an uneasy feeling.

The story itself is a world with a solution to everything. It’s scary once the downward spiral begins and we see the world unravel and revert to what it once was, only for the cycle to (supposedly) begin again.

Edit: The comments have some great insight on the dystopian ideas this video has!

My god, i remember watching this like three years ago, and i already understand the point of this story, "behind the perfect happiness, there's always someone who only care about greed and taking all of the peacefullness for themself"

I like the way he casually said "it even cures general stupidity" imagine being offered this and then he walks over to you and says that.

This has been on my recommendations WAY too long

The crazy thing is this is more realistic and relevant, than it is not. It's analogous to our reality to a terrifying extent.

i love how it felt like a joke at the beginning, but instantly became so intense and had me watching as though it's a serious documentary. also, the animation slaps!

Imagine that this actually happened a long time ago, but then all that shit went down and they just pretended like cream was never existent

This could be a whole "Black Mirror" episode, and I wouldn't bat an eye

this hits hardd it's like no matter how much we try to cover up our problems with temporary fixes we’re still left with the same broken pieces underneath kinda makes you question how much we sacrifice for the illusion of perfection

Its funny how much truth is in the ending. Like how a narrative gets changed so easily by the media and the rich.

It's interesting how cream works. Cream itself is essentially perfection, but whatever is submerged in it doesn't become cream, but a sentient being of energy. This means cream respects the value of life and has a moral code deemed "perfect"

"cream has taken the magic out of life." Damn, that hit me hard.

This is similar to how they poisoned the guy who made a car that ran purely on water.

People: *Throw Cream into the Fire*
Cream: *Improves the fire*
People: Oh no

- is he dead?

- no, he exponentially improved himself physically and mentally to a zenith of absolute perfection, subsequently evolving into a being of pure light energy.

*It just sounds like death but with extra steps*

This reminds me of how my mom would tell me the story of a scientist who invented a really good anti lice thing and how other companies that did the same but less effective thing made sure they took them down before it was widely spread
