This animated story is told by a young girl whose grandfather dies from Ebola and puts the rest of her family at risk. It brings to life the many messages that are so crucial in understanding this disease on a community level.

The film makes visible the invisible Ebola germs to help people see and understand how Ebola spreads and how to protect themselves. Critical messages are woven through the story so that people better understand Ebola, see themselves within the context of an outbreak, and see how to act in ways that can keep themselves safe from the disease and protect their communities.

This film is intended to help meet the need for better education and awareness that is critical in eradicating this disease in West Africa, and whenever and wherever potential outbreaks may threaten communities in the future.

Save one person, you're a hero, save a thousand, you're a nurse.

nurses are so brave, i wouldn't have been able to go in a room full of sick people, they deserve tons of respect

The funeral scene is very powerful, knowing they couldn’t touch their grandfather’s body, but raising their hands as the were touching him.

That little girl saved her moms, dads and her life. We should be proud of her.

Media like this should always get first pick of funding and distribution, especially in areas and countries where this is a big problem.

I learned more stuff about ebola with this than at school

A cartoon taught me better than a building of teachers

I find this very emotional. You barely ever see these sorts of video anymore, and it is nice to see that people are still reaching out to people.

Moral of the story: Diseases are not a joke. Nurses are not ordinary.

This traumatized me as a kid, and I thank you guys for doing it so I can now be aware of Ebola.

Edit: I am TECHNICALLY not a kid.

I'm glad everyone stayed calm about her having the Ebola virus, her mother survived and so did the rest of the village. If it hadn't been for the girl and the nurse, many people could have died.

Its actually really happy how the mother was really strong and didnt gave up, it shows how much she doesnt wanna leave her family and that she loves them very much, im also proud of the little girl for forcing her father to get her mother to the center, dont judge their age and looks, judge them by their personality. 💖💖
