i have router connected to internet and nvr connected by lan and only 1 of 12 cameras show up... they are meant to be plug and play seeing they are all hkvision cameras.. i just dont get it... why is the experience so bad from a trillion dollar company. They all have ips allocated by the NVR, all ethernet lines were tested as working. I just dont know where to go from here.

I would strongly appreciate your help. I have hikvision camera connected to the router and white IP address. Port is forwarded. I can see the video in my phone ivms4500hd through internet. But when I use same settings in my hybrid dvr (there are two ip channels available), then I get IP exception. Any idea? Do I must have dvr and ipcam in same network? Does it mean remote camera connect through internet is not possible?
