I 100% agree with all of Phil's points here. I've been using Sync for years, and it has never failed me.

It would have nice to mention that they limit the transfer speed to 5MBps (40mbps) which makes the unlimited storage feature non usable.. I have 500mbps up stream and I will be able to utilize only a fraction of it... This is a deal breaker obviosly.

Hii can sync drive can merge with google drive let’s say I move everything that I have on google drive and ICloud into sync?

Excellent points. Unfortunately, for me at least, Sync has been relatively slow. Also, being out of Canada is actually a big red flag for me. They have a horrible record on the freedom-front and it's only getting worse. There was a time when those privacy laws would have held more water for me, but not anymore. Still, a little better than being out of the US. :)

this is gonna be my first time using this as storage since i never found useful any online storage but now i do want to get it since i have like 3000 pictures i want to always keep forever now the question is can i trust this and have it unlimited without all my storage getting deleted in picture and what happens if your account gets cancel will everything then get deleted?

I use Sync and like the security features it offers. However I recently realized that since the Sync folder is on my computer and I have files automatically stored in One Drive, the Sync files are being stored in one drive as well. This probably nullify the security features of Sync. Is there a way to keep the Sync folder from being synced with one drive?

Hi I liked the video. I was contemplating using them but appears I won’t for 2 reasons. They now have a minimum of 3 people on teams instead of 2 and their functionality wasn’t quite good on my IPhone for my photos library. I didn’t see separate filters for video or photo . I am looking at 16 tb for Mega or I might be stuck trying Google One. Their integration on the photos library is second to none . Backblaze is ok for something very basic with poor functionality but there prices are going up this month .

The real price is $54 USD per month. This video is 9 months old so it might have been different back then. It’s a minimum of 3 accounts you have to buy. Otherwise it’s a 16% discount (what a random discount number) for paying for the year in full which costs $540 USD. This isn’t a good solution for YouTubers or self-employed individuals.

I have and use dropbox. Being able to pull up my data on my iphone helps. I am on a pc for my main computer.

Hey Phil, the only concern I have is related to the have this company is still in the market in the future. Because I have used Amazon Drive in the past and that solution was good with affordable pricing, but it was discontinued. I had to make a big task force to move into OneDrive where I am until now, but I'm also looking for other players in the market to see if there is anything good like OneDrive
