This was very helpful! I bought my two keys on Amazon (on which work great so far) for under 30$. The dealership wanted to charge me $300 just for one key! Along with programming. I did it all myself thanks to your video.

I suggest that in a future video, you emphasize, progammig multiple FOBS with key programming first before programming the remote buttons. Great video, many thanks, guidance was excellent!! My experience was 100%!

Help!!! What if I have two keys but the metal part of one broke off and I lost it? Am I screwed and gotta go to the dealership? They are so high priced. Thank you for any information you can provide. I love my little fiesta. 2016 SE. Thank you Thank you. To be clear the metal portion of key which enters the ignition is what I lost. Can I purchase this part?

The remote start was the trick, worked great thanks for the two key function. E-bay special 12.99 Tax got the car started with the new one but it shows invalid key code on the display lol!

Hi! I have two original keys that both used to work and both stopped being able to start the car. I’ve tried changing the batteries on both keys. I get a “system start fault” error when I try to start with either key. But the buttons work fine on both keys. Does this sound like the keys both need to be reprogrammed to you? What do you think? Trying to figure out if a third key is the answer or if I need to go to the dealership. I so appreciate both videos by the way!

Now for what hopefully isn't a dumb If I change the battery (CR2032) in an existing Ford key fob, will I have to reprogram it?

Great content. I just have one problem with my Focus Mk2: I have 3 keys, two of which have immo while the 3rd doesn't. After following your tutorial, I get immo on the 3rd key working, but it's only temporary. If I use the central locking with any of my 3 keys, the immo functionality of my 3rd key is reset. Any tips? I'd really like to avoid dealership since they're charging way more than necessary. Thanks and cheers

Thank you so much, lost my spare key on my Mercury Grand Marquis which has a remote starter that acted like a spare key like you said in your video, which let me program another key on my first try because i had another key.I thought i was done until you let us know a remote starter acts like a key

Hello and thank you for the super helpful videos. I have lost all of my car keys to my ford escape, so I do not have any working/programmed keys to being with. Is is still possible to do this method if I buy and cut two new keys from ebay? Seeing if I can avoid that $300 dealership + towing cost.lol

thanks for the videos i have 2010 f150 and i have two new key fobs and i was able to program them . i followed the steps in your video to program to start my truck but i was not successful what may have i done wrong?

Thanks for the 2 videos I watched them both. Very informative. Question though: Are you sure about needing 2 programmed keys in order 2 program additional keys/fobs? I've been needing to do this to get a 2nd key. And I've seen videos with others doing the same thing as you, but with only one key. Just need to make sure before I spend money at the dealer or ruin my one and only current key.
