This is a 3 Day Travel Guide for Budapest! As a Local we wanted to share a comprehensive guide to the capital of Hungary and share how we would spend 3 days in Budapest if this was our first time there!

In this video we cover some of the most important historical sites and attractions that we can fit into a 3 day travel plan without breaking the bank but also having a good time! Budapest offers many fun experiences but how can you fit the most into 72 hours?

We give some history and context behind the city and the attractions along with some crucial and important tips when exploring Budapest.
We also share the prices of each experience we paid for and give a view of the overall budget of this travel (which does not include accomodation)

The Buda Castle Cave Walking tour can be booked on Get Your Guide website, I highly recommend the 1,5 hour one!

Perfect timing for me as I'm in Budapest now for 2 weeks (but doing lots of day trips elsewhere, I'm on a train back from Esztergom as I type this). I'll watch this tonight. Thanks so much for your extremely high-quality, entertaining and quirky videos! Your top 10 Hungarian dishes video is the reason I chose Hungary for my holidays this year, I'm working my way around the étkezdék...

I am also very pro the reconstruction, it may come as ''unoriginal'' but even the buildings that are standing for more than 200 years have been reconstructed and even changed many times. Being able to see how things were years ago and admire the architecture again does not take away anything from the city. I would have loved that to happen in my city. Good job and very helpful video btw

The prices seem to be a bit confusing and some are really, really expensive...maybe take a look at those. You don't want to give the wrong impression of our wonderful city! I think what you may be doing is first showing the cost of the current place and then the cumulative costs for the two of you. If so, I'm sure it's really clear that you are doing that. As I've often said, I love your videos and this is no exception. I will be sharing on Facebook

We were in Budapest last month for the F1 race and we ended doing most of what you show in this video. Loved the city, the food, and the people!! Langos is just fantastic.

We spent 5 days in Budapest in May, Wow! What an amazing beautiful city, we crammed so much in, but still only scratched the surface. So much to see and do. Lovely friendly people, delicious food & we said we felt very safe 😊 will definitely revisit, probably many times has its only a 2 hour flight from UK 😊

We’ve just discovered you and your channel and have really been won over by everything you have shown in all the videos we’ve seen. Budapest is now firmly on our list of places to visit and soon!

Thank you, Akos. We're arriving at the end of September. Based on all your previous videos, I've already made a plan for our 3-day visit: Day 1 - Margaret Island and a walk along the Danube near the Parliament, and a visit to the market; Day 2 - Széchenyi Thermal Bath and Park, followed by dinner in the city center; and Day 3 - a tour of the Buda castles and another dinner. I love parks the most, and we want to experience the city, not just rush from one attraction to another. The only thing I missed in this video was a mention that it's best to use public transportation - something I learned from your videos - and to note that the currency is the forint. Everything else is excellent, just like all the videos I've watched. Thanks to you and your wife! Mima

Coming to Budapest from Vienna for a day-ish. Clearly more to do than what we will have time for! The baths seem like a "must-do" and we are trying to decide.
