We're in Budapest to see what we can do, see, eat, and where we can stay for UNDER $100 (or FREE!). After booking tickets to Budapest on a whim we decided to see just how budget-friendly this European country truly is (spoiler alert: it WAS!).

✅ Affordable Accommodation for Nomads, FT Travelers, and people who like ot travel for extended periods of time (2 weeks+)

If you want to travel for longer periods of time without spending all your $$$ on expensive Airbnb's then we HIGHLY suggest Flatio.

✅ Budapest Public Transport Cards (does NOT include museums, etc)

TIP! we rarely saw the hop on and off bus so I would go with the card that offers regular transport as well!

✅ Best Place to Book Tours (for Labyrinth Cave Tour and for any other activities you want to check out!)

Merry Christmas Everyone 🎄 We think Budapest is definitely an underrated European Travel Destination! We loved being able to stretch our budget so far and getting to see so much of the city without having to pay THOUSANDS while there. We would suggest pairing this trip with Prague if you can too! And December was a great time to go - B and I are still dreaming of that Chimney Cake... :)

The Labyrinth is only 20% of tunnels below the Buda Castle. There are more that are closed.

Architecture, history, museums, food, people, culture, castles, and language . Language is so different from English. Frederickusz interviews has captions and Agi Szabados has captions for learning about the language.🎉

Great video about Budapest. The food is half the price of the US prices, but the Hungarian salaries are the third compered, so Budapest is quite expensive for Hungarians unfortunately.
