For the production of electricity of higher voltage, a generator should have:
1. Stronger magnets
2. More turns in its coil
3. Quick relative motion between the
magnet and coil
Lekin iss main kuch aisa nahi lag raha

depending on the load requirement the gear ratio would need adjustment

It is a good idea but it can produce more electricity if the vans of the waterwheel faces the follow of the riverflow rather than the vans against the follow of the water.

What would you want electricity for when you can listen to that banjo drive you around the bend...😅😅

how much power does it make though, and does it even work in the winter

The waterwheel isn’t placed in the right direction. The “shovels” should get the water inside, and not from the outside. Dont know if you understand me, but it’s like taking the soup with a spoon that is upside down.

Most of countries use flowing watsr to generate electricity and supply to all of houses and residents

Preppers should get water wheels for electricity generation in addition to wind turbines and solar panels.

“Can a waterwheel produce electricity?”
. . . Have you heard of a Dam?

Can’t wait for rockstar to add this feature in rdr3

So can this be adjusted for different heights of the river flow? There are constant ebbs and flows that change the height of rivers constantly. I see this mechanism being extremely damaged when a river swells and a fallen tree smashes into it....

Great idea BUT . . .

This 'Inventor' should just have BROADENED THE BLADES running in the water to have DOUBLE or TRIPLE the GENERATING CAPACITY as this Stream of water totally allows for that to be done !
TORQUE on driving Shaft would immediately multiplied and thus the GAIN of electricity also increased at MINIMAL COST INCREASE.

That wheel moves slow which means you'll need a gear between it and the generator. You could reshape the wheel so it spin faster but you'll still need a gearbox unless you water to dam the river/stream

the turbine can be lowered for a little more power, more powerful magnets to pull, after those combinations has been tweaked to it's best potential you'll have power for days.

Are u people engineers?
You have the bloody vanes on the water wheel backwards!

At this point I think it is going the wrong way if it's trying to catch, store and use energy 😊

Looks like they're about 15% efficient with that setup... Look at all the white water around that thing

Dam exits should be designed to utilize many of these, especially in the white water.

how about making it lighter weight? and how much the power production is approx?

It would take an electrical engineer about an hour to explain why numerous complex control systems would be required to maximize this setup's electrical power output and to match it to either a battery or some other load that can except the variable output power ie as the stream speed varies daily or seasonally.
There are very few modern electrical loads that can directly accept this setups unguaranteed output voltage, power AND frequency, presuming its an AC generator. Note that the power and voltage comment applies to a DC generator...
Directly driving a drum to wash clothes, a spindle to turn wood, or maybe a rotisserie is possible, but seriously how many people would bother today...?
99% of the time IMO comments are a waste of time... few people read them, and even fewer people appreciate them. The comment process gives people a false or minimal indeterminate sense of contributing something of value. Most people don't care to hear other random people's oppinions. Most facts are useless drivel with zero useful factual objective information.
I would be surprised if more then one person appreciates THIS comment... and there is no guarantee that anyone will.
