Modifications for the GT-R:
1.Staright Pipes
2.BBS/ADV.1 Black Reems.
3.Baby blue/Red paint job.
4.Put some carbon fiber parts (maybe from RevoZport) around the car- Side skirts, Front Splitter, Spoiler, on the back of the car
5.Paint the roof to black.

Marchettino you made the correct choice.  You did your research and came to the conclusion that the maintenance on a Ferrari would be cost prohibitive.  I researched my last car purchase for almost 2 years, and looked at all of the cars you mentioned.  I went in a different direction, but for the same reasons.  I bought a Gen V Viper GTS.  640hp/600tq, 206mph top speed, 0-60 3.3 seconds, hand built, low production.  I'm very happy with my choice, but I still long for a Ferrari some

488 comes out with mini leather and alcantara box with emergency safe tricks warnings. Nissan wireless entry it's usual on Micra too, you can manage thru EODB protocol as you wish as long as other constructors EDM cars have on board (mandatory rules of ECC) emergency procedure when wireless entry drops down...with metal start key and/or internal chip listening in front of push start button.

The best choice Marco...i have 2013 Gtr 650 hp and is a beast...increase with ipe exhaust in 700 hp...take care with exhast and warranty

This is my list of mods to my future GT-R.

1. Replace the cheap headliner with an Alcantara headliner.
2. Wrap the cheap plastics with nice leather that matches the interior, and maybe double tone it.
3. Replace the seat belts with a different colors, maybe red.
4. Get rid of that heavy sub woofer from the back seat, and replace it with something lighter and much nicer looking.
5. Make a slight mechanical modification to get the car to 600 hps, and some 500+ lbft.

Do a stage 2 with custom tune with intakes, y-pipe. 600 large at your disposal. Oh, make sure you never fold the mirrors when it rains hard. Water enters the area where the ECU etc is housed and farks everything up, else get a shield to install in the engine bay. I did a DIY version as mine is RHD and they only do LHD shields X:<

Marchettino, you know your cars and your pick is spot on for what you want it for. A truly awesome machine. If they didn't build it on a mass production line setup the car would cost double. Bargain & I love bargains. Takes nothing away from the fantastic machine it is!! Bravo bro!

Marchettino, install an ArmyTrix Valvetronic Titanium Exhaust. And install new wheels and tires. It will look much better and the is going to be amazing! What do you think of my idea??

About the 430 Scuderia, same here! I absolutely love that car and made it my goal a while ago for it to be my first supercar. Now it has gone up in value quite a lot. Goal might have to be pushed back a bit...

A new transmission for a GTR is 13-14k but there is so many mods to correct any weak points do your research man. The GTR is RWD biased it isn't ''awd'' it's 4wd there is no center differential... the lack of a center differential dictates the term ''AWD'' also no selectability like 4wd.

You made the right choice buying the GT-R. It's apparent after watching this video. It's a practical, 2-door saloon car that has heaps of performance thrown in as an added bonus. Plus it's a Nissan - so it'll go for several hundred thousand kilometers, without many issues - and it'll be cheap to maintain if something goes wrong with it.

From what I've read, and heard about Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Aston Martins, and other cars of that nature; they're horrid everyday cars. Expensive to maintain, super unreliable (compared to the Nissan), and completely impractical.

You made a good choice in car. I hope you'll enjoy it for years to come.

I do have a question though. Did you ever consider doing a Restomod? Like, finding a rolling chassis of a Ferrari 308, Jaguar E-Type, or Datsun 240Z, and then building it up with all sorts of dream-inducing components to make it a reliable, beautiful, one-of-a-kind, everyday car?

+Marchettino Your GTR if post-2012? If so, you can launch it at least 4 times (I'm almost sure that it's 4, confirm with nissan) in a row, but then you should do a "cooling lap". The ones that gave more problems were the LC1 software, your probably has the LC3 or LC4 software, so it will hurt very little and it won't void your warranty.

Oh and another thing, even if transmission goes wrong, the parts that almost everytime go wrong, aren't expensive and a fix and reinforcement is something around 1000's euros, check litchfield and GTR life for more info. So don't sweat around the transmission it's strong and even if it fails, it doesn't cost 20k euros to replace, only if it is at Nissan and if it is, you have the warranty.
