Sword Experts Recreate moves from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

In today’s episode, we have Sword Experts Drew Curtis and Paul Suda reacting to and recreating moves from 2019’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Dive into the best moves and techniques Cal uses to take down Storm Troopers like a Flurry or Dual saber wielding. Also, find out how exhausting it is even in an alien universe as the guys felt rough the next day. A third-person video game based on the Star Wars Universe, Jedi: Fallen Order features action and adventure gameplay. In both combat and puzzle scenarios, players control Cal Kestis, who is armed with a lightsaber and the Force. Throughout the series, Cal faces numerous enemies, from Imperial stormtroopers and droids to wild beasts and skilled Zabrak warriors native to each world he explores.

Cal also uses the force to speed himself up when he does the delay so he's open way less. He actually uses the force to speed himself up for alot of his moves.

I think that lightsaber blades are near-weightless since the plasma is just a super heated gas held into shape via a magnetic field. There is still mass there since plasma is matter, but I’m not a physicist.

2:11 the guy was right before because although George Lucas originally intended for lightsabers to be heavy like a broadsword this lore was later changed to have the lightsaber blade be weightless hence why we see the faster one-handed movements in the prequels compared to A New Hope where the lightsaber is always held with 2 hands.

Basically the canon answer is that lightsaber blades are indeed weightless. Especially in a modern game like Jedi Fallen Order

On the duel saber attacks where the hilt is in two pieces and quickly put back together, there is a quick release coupling for that. I actually have one on my second main use lightsaber.

I always felt fallen orders combat was a bit weak compared to older Star Wars titles. Hopefully for the second they focus less on flashy and actually incorporate the lightsaber forms. Cool reaction tho.
