I own a garage. I expect to speak to my customers. For so many reasons; service, fault finding, to make them feel valued. Ford charge top dollar for their servicing. That check-in is a disgrace to the motor trade. Fine if you're in a hurry but definitely shouldn't be the standard.

Car parks are a nightmare, as you say empty car park and someone has to park next to us. The public in the UK have no common sense and to be honest seem pretty thick.

£380 That's typical main stealer prices I'm afraid. As a mechanic/Tech at an independent garage we would of charged £120 for that service and you would of spoken to the guy doing the work, not a computer. Sorry for your experience, places like this give the rest of us a bad name. And don't forget the usual purchaser of those vans are company's that can afford these ridiculous prices.

And that's £380 reasons why people don't use their main dealers for work on their vehicles anymore, if you look at the receipt it'll 90% be labour cost, thankfully having a mobility vehicle I don't pay for service

ford custom genuine ford. service kit onn line are £150.thats 10ltrs of oil and al the filters I change mine every 12 months due to oil diullation and the wet belt problem if you think the service was extortionate wait to your cam belt needs replacing the kit alone is £500.plus labour .Roger.

Remember the fully synthetic oil would of cost £100+
Most main agents are £75-£100

Caravan and motorhome dealers cost £70.00 an hour

Not saying the costs are right but wages and overheads have spiraled since Brexit/covid.?

We would always service and wash for the customers at our garage.

In Gloucester town we sometimes go there when visiting eldest. Those sculptures are called “the CD racks” 😂

You get a years European Recovery with that service, check your invoice. Oil and filter are £103 as there are 10litres of oil.
