After an hour I asked my wife for help to no avail. I thought I would spend hours trying to find a solution, if at all but I found Ben’s Appliance video in a matter of minutes. Thank you so much, Joe

Worked perfectly, even made me chuckle when you said "you wouldn't be here if you hadn't already removed it". Touchè

This the way, to quote the Mandalorian. You are an absolute genius. I don't even want to admit how long I struggled with the boot seal, ordered the tool and then found this.

This is exactly what I needed. I didn't have time to wait, nor did I want to spend money on a tool I might never use again. Thank you!

Thank you! Great hack, worked like a charm on a Bosch. I put the wrench in a bench vice, stretched the spring to the max, put the gasket band in position and held the spring in place as I cut the zip ties. 👍🏼

You absolute legend! I was on the point of booking an engineer to put this sprung hoop back on for me. I spent a looong time trying myself and looking for help on the interwebs. I like to think I am quite handy but this this had me beat. Thanks so much.

It worked! My husband used this technique today and said it took 5 minutes. I heart YouTube tutorials :)

You’re unbelievable man! This took me about 10 mins after struggling for two hours or more to get the spring back on using long nose pliers. Thanks so much! 🙏🙏

Spent a few hours trying to get it back on with no luck. Finally came across your video and gave it a try. About 10 min later it was on. Thanks!

Nice and simple. My bar clamp spreader method was bulky and clumsy. I've been in love with cable ties since I first met one. Now my love is stronger than ever.

Thank You. You just saved me a trip to buy a “special tool” I didn’t need but once or twice in my lifetime!!! After trying with the help of my son for 20 minutes, I watched your video and I did it myself in less than 5 minutes.

I had to tackle this alone without an expander. This trick, did the trick. I had to use double zip ties on each end, but once in place, I cut one one each side and the spring stress broke the other two. Works great. Thank you.
