Down And Dirty Quick Dead Tree Removal #2

I ended up cutting down another dead tree in my side Yard. It was a quick takedown of a dead tree where the top half came down. It was a successful cut and I had a lot of fun cutting this one down also. Anywhooooo........., here is that story.

Howdy. Lewis again. Your chain is not sharpened properly my friend. Going to repeat my comments from the first "Down And Dirty Dead Tree Removal #1": My Friend, the chain is for cutting wood, not dirt. After the chain hits dirt once, your edge is gone. I'm wanting to be helpful, but when you were bucking the tree, you were plowing the dirt with almost every cut. Not sure where you live, but wish we lived close enough so I could teach you some pointers in using a chainsaw correctly. Would love to help. Please don't let your nephew use the chainsaw until you receive some proper training.

I just started climbing trees also, but have had the opportunity to use a chainsaw all my life. I had a good teacher/mentor, and he had an excellent teacher/mentor. It scares me for you being in the tree with the chainsaw (that isn't the place to learn). If I can help please let me know. I would even be willing to have phone conversations (just let me know).
