How To Install A CNC Router Bit Database Into Vectric Vcarve & Aspire, Download Instruction

This video tutorial shows you how to enter your CNC router bits database into the Vectric design software, regardless of which Vectric design level you have (Cut2D Desktop or Pro, Vcarve Desktop or Pro, or Aspire).

NOTE: When a bit is greyed out, even though you know it had data, it is because the 'material' field was changed from hardwood to another material. Change the materials field back to hardwood to display the tool settings.

Downloaded Vetric Desktop trial and loaded database iaw your video. Relearning and deciding on projects. Once reaquainted with process I will purchase Vectric software, likely Desktop due to cost and size if my machine being a good match. Again Thanks for good video and work.

At LAST! You just increased your bits sales for sure. I was just now shopping for bits as a kit that had a database. I have most all of the bits that you sell and still have not got all the settings set up correctly for each of them. My ear for feeds and speeds serves me very well today as well as 30 years ago when I was a steel machinist. I always change my individual tool settings to drive the tool a wee bit on the harder side just by what I'm hearing and feeling. Burning a bit Grinds My Gears.
Before I found IDC and while I was CNC "Probie", I found some Chinese bits working stunningly good! Yet others break after a Mean Tweet™. Especially V-bitts with the blue coating.
I can't believe how well the Chinese ⅛" up/down bits work.
That said, I'm starting to make good money with carvings and can't afford China's poor quality control and cheap bitts to stop me.  
In response to this useful time A "Gift" ... I'm going to stop buying from Amazon in favor of Garrett's passion and zest.
I've been nearly a month waiting for his show stoppers so only panic and desperation will make me buy elsewhere.

This is amazing!... unfortunately I live in Africa and we use metric, but I have still downloaded the database, and I plan to still use it as a guideline for similar sized metric bits which I use... Keep up the good work... 🤘
