i'm italian and he had this coming playing theatrics back in rome wearing a putin t shirt....for a time he had the support of the people for the the obvious reasons but that stunt he pulled by having a vote of no confidence in the pm because he wanted that position, he thought he could grab more power because the pm was mediocre at best, it back fired hard and the senate voted them out. his party got demolished and the establishment democrat party swooped in and took their place, so you had a non elected party back in power reversing laws that would placed there to keep politicians in check really left a bad taste in the people's mouth how salvini fucked this by trying to overreach.
