Soooo glad we got out Monday afternoon! It took us 23 hours to drive up to Atlanta because the traffic was stop & go for 90% of the drive! Gas stations were out of gas by 7pm so they would just close up. Fast food service restaurants were out of supplies so they closed early too. No gas, no food! Luckily we had brought our own food and extra gas. We finally found a Chevron gas station in the middle of Georgia that had gas. I wish everyone the best of luck with this bad boy Milton. My parents are in one of the evacuation zones and they won't evacuate. I've spoken with them about this but they refused to do so. I really worry about them and hope they will be OK.

What is missed is that many people don't have any means to leave and that's a shame. An evacuation order for someone who doesn't even have gas money or money to stay somewhere else is useless.
