That’s right, these are the BEST teriyaki ribs, and I can prove it. Just do up a few racks using this recipe as shown, take a few bites, and that will be all the convincing you need. Besides the great flavor, perfect texture, and stunning appearance, these ribs are done using a very easy, oven-baked method. Enjoy!

I find it ironic that you got me into using cayenne and now I’m to the point where I use more cayenne in my recipes than you do.

Like Chef says, if you have to get the top brand of one thing, it's the long roll of heavy duty foil. It's perfect in every way. Plus it's great on the bottom of a sheet pan cause you don't have to really clean the pan, just rinse it off.

The deep fried ribs I had in China were awesome, even figured out how to eat them with chopsticks over time. 😂

This might be an unpopular question, but would these freeze well?

I was considering doing a few up to the stage where it has a few layers of glaze and then vacuum pack and freezing them. Then when ready to cook add a final layer of glaze and cook them through.

I used to love all of Chef John's videos and recipes. I still do, but I used to, too.

I’m so happy you’re still posting videos. I’ve grown up (no, really!!) watching your videos - when I started getting into cooking as a teen, then when I moved out at 18, and through my 20s. Both for recipes and also for comfort. I’m now 29. Thank you for creating this comforting and inspiring corner of the internet 🩷

So high was set the bar,
Chef John is the Terry Garr.
of making ribs more tender than Rocky,
since he does it with Teriyaki

“….place in the center of a 250 degree oven…”
<places on top rack in upper third>

Another Chef John video: “…place in the center of a [whatever] degree oven…”
<places on bottom rack in lower third>

C’mon, Chef John, don’t gaslight me! 🤣❤️🤣

These look awesome. I'm looking forward to trying them before a football game get together. Don't we need to flip the ribs when you're in the process of glazing them with the sauce?

I always just thought I was strange because I use cayenne in most every dish I make until I found your youtube then all of a sudden I found other people like minded for that Im grateful.
