As someone who had to watch their mother suffer with cancer for 8 years before passing, I'm rooting for John all the way here. Scum of the Earth scamming people like that, can't wait to see this movie with my dad, had him watch the Saw films last year and he quickly became a fan

I just finished the movie about a half hour ago and I really appreciated the traps being winnable again I think that’s the main denominator between this and recent saw films. I was rooting for John the entire film and I think that’s so satisfying and a refreshing change. Great film overall.

I saw this movie last night and it was a lot better than initially expected it to be. I think making John Kramer the protagonist was a nice choice for the film. I'll admit the twist isn't as memorable as the first two films, but the end credits makes up for it and I'm hoping to see more films like this one. Who would have thought that the director from Saw 6 and Saw 7 and the writers from Jigsaw and Spiral gave us this amazing film. I guess third time really is the charm

I still can't believe how big the payoff here was. If they're gonna move forward with more sequels, I hope it's the same filmmaking team. Tobin Bell absolutely rocked it, and I especially loved the first half hour of his story. I think it gave the movie an emotional pulse, which I wasn't expecting.

This movie was so good, the traps were gory, and even made me look away, loved them. John Kramer as the main character was amazing. This movie was just amazing, 9/10. 2nd favorite personally

Just finished watching it and i gotta tell you man i loved it! Salute to Tobin Bell for even filming another Saw movie at his age! 81 years old and still going strong. Truly gonna miss him when he's gone! Giving him his flowers now! The legenddd! I loved the twist in this movie and it was pretty cool seeing John Kramer himself in his own trap for the first time! I already knew he had everything planned from start to finish. You CANNOT out plan John Kramer! He is the masterminddd! Cecilia thought she had it all figured out...HA! And i won't even speak about that post credit scene....Lorddd that was insane! All im gonna say is the iconic bathroom once again is shown!

Gotta love to see Saw back on top. You can tell they took their time with this one, love letter to the OG fans for sure. S/O the goat John Kramer, Tobin doing this at 80 years old is incredible you can really tell he loves this character.

Yeah idk why people didn't like the ending twist because it wasn't mind bowing or super shocking, it wasn't supposed to be, it was literally supposed to mirror John Kramer's development as a character and they did that perfectly

I never really saw John as a villain. I know he is but I've always been sympathetic to the man. He shows what trauma can do to the mind and drive a reasonable man to doing unreasonable things. It could be any of us really.

Although it's only been about 24 hours since it's been out it's already got pretty good reviews 85% 🍅from the critics which saw movies usually don't get that high of scores especially from critics!

I watched it last night in theaters, and let me just say, OG Saw fans for the first few films are gonna love it! Tobin Bell is better than ever in this film and his acting instantly took me back to the first saw film where I and others fell in love with this franchise.

Some humor in horror is really good. It takes a break from the horror but also somehow makes it scarier bc it makes it more realistic.

Pretty good overall. A little slow to start and I had issues with things at the end but overall definitely the best since the 6th movie.

I came back from theather hour ago and I'm so happy that SAW X was as good as everyone says and even more. Trap plot was awesome, twist was not what I espected but very in John Kramer style and before end I have some wtf moments how this will play on😮. Post credit scene give me chills and I want more Hoffman and more sequels 🤩

This movie was the best saw movie since saw 2. It was actually pretty good with some good/great traps, rooting for jigsaw in a good way since these ppl are disgusting, some good gore, elaborates more on why Amanda would do unwinnable traps, gives more perspective that Amanda wasn’t fully ready even sympathizing with Gabriella, Jigsaw being the main focus, and the setting of Mexico. I would give it a 8/10 one of the best horror movies of 2023 and I liked the after credits scene as well. We know who jigsaw was talking to when he said detective.

About the sequel
From what I understand, if this one does well, the plan for Saw 11 is to set it between 2 and 3, with main focus this time being on Amanda with John being side character (basicaly just reversed roles from X)
