I see your points buuuut...

Issue with trap #1: Everyone bound to the trap was selfish\greedy. While your plan would make sense at the time, everyone else would be fighting over who goes first.
Edit: Assuming you succeeded and got the key first and also have great observation, you could tell everyone to pass it around as the key would be the same one needed to unlock all traps.

Issue with Trap #2: The reverse bear trap opens with extreme force, not the other way around.
Hoffman got lucky because he managed to jam the trap into the bars of a door to stop it from activating fully. Most people caught in the trap were not in a situation to pull off the same feat nor would they consider the possibility at the time (stress and risk of death is a hell of a factor)

Issue with Trap #3: It'd be safe to assume that tampering with the trap (attempting to remove the shells) might cause it to trigger prematurely, only exception would be with the doctor in the video as she was needed alive for that trial.

That saw trap he showed before listing the ones he would survive is the easiest one. How the trap works is that you have to turn a dial to break a finger on the opposite hand otherwise your eyes get sucked out, the guy who was in that trap was an idiot and turned the dial slowly, making the process worse, instead you can just crank it quickly and break all of your fingers at once and boom you still have your eyes

one thing that not many people realize is that the puzzle host isnt a murderer, he's a game master. these traps are meant to be survived, at the expense of your suffering.

Fun fact: the makers of saw actually sold the movie to the distribution company by the bear trap itself alone! They actually made the reverse bear trap and took it to pitch their movie idea and it was more than successful pitch.

Hindsight is 20/20. In a situation like this in real life with the limited time for each trap & you not knowing how you got there, I doubt it would be that easy

Your getting the bucket head one and the collar trap confused. All they had to do was sacrifice a small amount of blood, no keys were involved. The collar one in saw 5 was the key one, where all of the keys were the same

Just as the other guy giving a long explanation, I'll give a little TL;DR on why you wouldn't survive them even if it is just a hypothetical.
Basically, if you thought of those ways to escape, wouldnt the mastermind behind the invention think of those and several other ways to escape in order to create failsafes to prevent you from cheating death? Not to mention youre playing with other people that could also be a potential threat to yourself, so youre not really only trying to beat the traps in the game but everyone involved with the game as well.

So one issue with trap number 3 is any caliber that goes above a 357 magnum usually are bonded. This means that those bullets are sealed to the casing themselves. And even if you remove the bullet itself you still have a decent amount of gun power. Which in this case if you had the bullets out think of it like a pressure washer that is shooting melting sand right into your throat.

1: You mixed up two traps here. There was a trap with 5 people in Saw V where they each had to get their key before the time ran out so they wouldn’t get pulled into blades on the wall. In Jigsaw, however, where the picture is from, they had buckets on their heads and they were pulled toward saw blades. They had to draw blood to unlock their helmet to get out. If you’re talking about the Saw V trap, absolutely. The whole point of the traps in Saw V was that if they had cooperated, they’d have all survived easily. Also, the trap where you had to grab the key was not the only trap in that movie. The victims in that trap had to also survive three more traps to get out.

2: I mostly agree with you, but do keep in mind that she knew the person she had to “slice and dice” and he wasn’t actually unalive, like Jigsaw had said. Gotta cut her a little slack, but she got it done.

3: I almost guarantee that you wouldn’t be able to, nor anybody, could survive number three. The trap was rigged against her. She was an extremely skilled doctor and her goal was to keep a dying John alive. If he died, she died. She had to perform dangerous surgery on him without proper medical equipment. She was even able to do it. However, John planned all of this out. He knew that Amanda wouldn’t want to let her go. He knew that Jeff wanted to unalive him. He knew that Jeff would come in and Amanda would shoot the girl in the trap. Jeff would shoot Amanda. He would see the girl (his wife) injured and be infuriated for that and for going through traps himself, and he would unalive John, therefore unaliving his wife. She did not “just give up” and you could absolutely not survive.

He would definitely be the first one to die in every single trap. Like none these people understood what was happening and inflict self harm to such degrees is very traumatic, not a simple slice and dice and grab a key
