Can I use pok pok charcoal or Thane for a longer burn?

Thank you, very helpful. But (question) you end by saying that this is not your #1 favorite... So which one is it (your very favorite)? Looking forward to hearing back.
[We are trying to buy a dual fuel pizza oven but are hugely limited by the place where we'd have to put it (an existing small wood-burning fireplace in the kitchen--with its own chimney and covered in tiles, about 37 inches deep and wide). The position of the chimney in the front of the Ooni makes the Ooni impracticable]

Great review. What were the dimensions of the opening in the front? Looks like the largest pie it could take is about a 12 incher Also concerned about the dirt/soot that would collect in the front from firing it up with wood? Did you notice that?

Please don't put a full split in that thing if anyone actually buys this, use wood chunks with charcoal.

Don’t get me wrong but I’m just saying .
It looks like a good unit for the price .
But check out the dome .
That’s the direction I’m going .

You lost me at it being efficient.
I have a wood stove that’s efficient and I barely ever have to ad wood .
What you’re telling me is that it’s inefficient.
You can’t have both .
An efficient wood stove has very little smoke and incredible burn times .
Just because this oven doesn’t smoke doesn’t make it efficient.
Especially when you have to add wood every 5 minutes .
Which is not efficient.
