Great video, thanks Dr. I used your example and modified (module: Decrypting) it a bit to return the social security number formatted to read 123-45-6789 just by adding a few more string variables and Left, right, and mid.

Hi! Thanks for posting the video. I keep running into a value error. I made sure add Option Explicit, , added as a module in VBA, and saved as Macro-enabled workbook. Any suggestions?
