"opinions are like farts" 😂😂 the best analogy I've heard in a long time! Great review man! Thank you!

Thanks for sharing your experience, Robert. I'm on Mitas E-07 Dakar and will continue until their end. Enjoy the summer and safe rides 💙💛🏁🤛🏼

I mounted Mitas E09 Dakar in the rear and Mitas E13 Rally Star in the front for this season here in Sweden and love that combination.

AX41, try them and fall in love 😻 I too have tried many tyres and these are by far the best 50:50 on the road, wet, dry, hot and cold they stick like shit to a blanket on road, still as good as any 50:50 off road yet I got 10, 000km from a rear, a 140 on my 1200gs with narrow rims fitted.
I had previously tried:
Karoo 2
Karoo 3
Anakee Wild
STRs

You are doing the lord's work. This was very helpful to me in assessing my options. I was overwhelmed.

Mycket intressant. Stort tack för övrigt för det första Youtubeklipp både jag och damen såg två gånger - Skog 2022. Det var en pärla!!! Så tjusigt redigerat. Ha det☀️😀👍

Thanks for the observations. I like Tractionator Adventure for difficult off-road but they're noisy on asphalt, heavy, difficult to get of and on in the field, and they don't last through a trip if it's 10000 km or more. I like Dunlop Trailmax Mission for the longer trips, but they're not grippy in mud or sand. I'm hoping the new Dunlop Trailmax RAID coming out this year will hit the sweet spot between them.

I completely agree - get a set of tyres that will help you the most when you need it the most. On the street there’s a speed limit you probably should follow anyways. You’ll wear your off road tyres quicker (vs street tyres) and will be more expensive, but in return you’ll become one hell of a tyre changer!

Very interesting, thanks. Paid time - is the best.... I love it!

You should try to par the mitas e-09 rear with the tkc80 front 🔥 I don't understand the front e-09 myself. It is so wrong in so many ways (IMO) Great Comparison. I was so sick and tired of reading about peoples opinions online on different forums I just had to start trying for my self. What style, bike, luggage, trip etc are just as important as the surface you are riding on when you find what tires works best for you. Nice to hear you opinion on the tires you have tried. Thank you Robert

I agree with the Stock pirellis great on pavement and packed gravel. I have 8000km on mine and have a Mitas E07+ to replace them which i find great on loose gravel and highway. i am tempted to try the Motoz Adventure next time around. Loving my T7 . Having a lot of fun on this bike.

Seen this video couple of times. Excellent. Really. Not only the tyre reviews but the points you make at the end…

Just got me a klr650 and started looking at tires to replace the stock tires and this is mind blowing ones you started your research. I'm in 62 and looking for something that can handle the ok, ak, mo,ks conditions for a puts rider that dont want the tires to fail me on mountain roads in summer wet conditions. Seems mud is the struggle and too many choices. Great video thks.

I love the Motoz Rallz tires on my KTM 690 enduro.

Thank you for your choice of tires for the Tenere and your opinion on them. The Motoz would be a shortlist to try but it's difficult to get tires here in Germany at the moment. Unnecessarily, the Motoz are not offered in Germany due to registration regulations. But that's just the way it is in a country where the color of your underpants will soon be prescribed for you.😉

Nice work Robert. I have an another video suggestion, related to the tyres, this is: How to handle the puncture on the field? Especially with tubed tyres.

Mitas E09 front is maybe 50/50 but rear tyre is more like 70% off-road tyre, really very good tyre. You don't have to match front and rear. On front I use Dunlop D908RR, it's perfect tyre for this.

New riders tend to underestimate the importance of tyres, they think the ratio, so say a 50/50, relates to how much time they spend on or off road, but realistically it represents how much grip you get - so really a 50/50 tyre is only giving you 50% of the grip you actually need. I've come from motocross to adv bikes and just baffled with the whole tyre thing with adv bikes, most bikes I see offload are just under gripped and gonna struggle if the going gets tough. This is a great video and explanation tho of what to look for and expect from a tyre. Went to the Adv Bike Festival in England recently and was disappointed in the speakers they had, they were more media lovies than actual proper adv riders, and only Bridgestone had a tyre stand. Perhaps that was a covid thing, I know Revit couldn't get because of restrictions, but there should be more talk and emphasis on tyres, it is the only bit that makes contact with the dirt. Great vid - thanks

I’ve just had in my triumph scrambler 1200xc for the past 12.000km the motoz tractionator adventure (front) and rallz (back) and they worked so good offroad!! On road they are ok but super noisy hehe
