"Eat shit and live" has been my favorite comeback since 2010, because of this film. Truely a classic.

I think it would have been way funnier if for the final movie, they still had Angela's actress doing the Sheriff with the bad makeup, but it turns out the Sheriff was legit and just looked *like that*, and Angela's actual disguise was actually super convincing the whole movie and she is revealed as some side character you didn't pay enough attention to to pick up on the disguise.

Not gonna lie the first film did freak me out when I first saw it. It's the look on 'Angela's' face, still gives me shivers

I can't imagine how validated and joyous that fan must've felt to finally discover the footage after all that time.

I'm old enough to remember watching the first one, on the original release, no Internet, no spoilers. The ending was a proper shocker at the time 😱

to add to the "unresolved trauma, " he wasnt just forced to pretend to be a girl, but specifically his DEAD SIBLING. He probably couldnt even grieve her bc everyone around him was acting as if HE had died and SHE had lived. Thats really gotta fuck up your mind, constantly like "what would the real Angela do?" And then doing it yourself, even though youre Peter

So many weird threads are suggested but just never followed regarding Angela's history in the original. The family dynamics, the head wound, what Ricky knows and doesn't know, it's such an oddly constructed movie.

Definitely one of your better intros, maybe the best! Thank you for all the work you put in.

I love it when you cover the older stuff. I love how you’re timely and on point with current releases, but it’s a special treat when you do the movies I grew up with.

And the whole opening camp advertisement was hilarious

One of the few 80s horror movies with the guts to kill actual kids at a summer camp and not just the counsellors. Although I always admired why Jason never killed the campers.

I loved the first one, my son went a comic con last year and met Felissa Rose, she signed an autograph and sent me a video from my son's phone, which I was in awe of when I saw it, and I still have it. She seems like a really nice lady 😊

THANK YOU SO MUCH
With the cost of streaming on the rise, I watch YouTube like it is television. An hour of FoundFlix?? An opening skit and a full series explained? This is why I keep a YouTube subscription ❤

You never know how much of a love letter to Sleepaway Camp Wet Hot American Summer is until you watch them back to back. It's really astounding, even though the latter holds up on its own. Highly recommend seeing both

Man I watched so many “summer camp killer” movies growing up that when my parents actually sent me to camp I freaked out lol.

The "not you Meg" makes me laugh my ass off. That first movie is such a great campy time.

The opening gave me shining vibes. The music and random nature shots. Reminded me of the opening drive that Jack took on the way to the overlook
