As a local, don't miss the Cleveland Orchestra. It may be at Blossom depending on when you go, but it's one of the best orchestras in the country.

It's so pretty over there. As a New Yorker I'd say your metroparks are to die for. Your city is peaceful and serene unlike the ultra-aggressive New Yorkers driving on the road. Cost of living is affordable, and your transportation is almost always without fail always on time. Oh and the people are friendly.

Clevelander here, Thanks for the informative & kind review! 2 quick things:

The 35 mph turn on 90 is called Dead Man’s Curve because it rolled over a lot is semis before the limit was lowered.

Couldn’t agree more about the neighborhood pub part! Eastside, Westside, Coventry, Little Italy, whatever neighborhood you’re in there’s good food at a local spot 5min away.

Born, raised, and still living in Cleveland for 56 years now, thank you for pointing out the good things about Cleveland.

Absolutely make it to the Cleveland Museum of Art, it’s an amazing place, I have suggested it to tourists more times than I can count.

I grew up in Buffalo so have a real soft spot for "Rust Belt" cities. My family just spent three days in NE Ohio and had a great time in Cleveland, Akron and Canton. Tons of stuff to do, see and eat. Downtown Cleveland is surprisingly nice.

As a born and raised Clevelander I approve this message! Yes you did butcher Cuyahoga (kai-uh-hog-uh)! There is way more food all over the city east and west Spanish, Italian and many other! Our winters are terrible but our summers are gorgeous. There is so much to do here for all ages! Thanks for visiting!! Next time go deeper into the surrounding suburbs Coventry and little Italy is amazing for authentic Italian food! We are definitely creative when it comes to food and drinks!!

As a former Clevelander, I was surprised that most of the things he said were positive, you don’t see many positives about this amazing city.

Been to Cleveland, three times now. I've loved it everytime. Nothing negative to say about my experiences.

Welcome to Cleveland! If you're into classical music, there are tons of opportunities to hear world-class performances all over the city. And good tip on the national park -- it's a great contrast to the activities downtown.

Us Clevelanders don’t often talk about the great things we have here because we don’t like to brag. Awesome video, man. Keep up the good work. Love the channel.

We moved here to Cleveland in 1978 from Miami, FL, where I had been living at the time. I left here around 2008 to move to Cincinnati for about 9 years because one of my daughters lived down there. We both ended up moving back here. In all the times I've moved house (39 at last count) this is the first and only time I have ever come back to a place I've left.

WHOA!!! As many years I've watched you, I am shocked you are in my hometown. You must have family there!!!! I appreciate you showing my city off to the world...also many people forget that the world's #2 hospital, the Cleveland Clinic is based here...people from around the world come to Cleveland for the Cleveland Clinic for care and its not a joke.

Mark, I am so excited that you and your family had the pleasure of experiencing all Cleveland has to offer. I live in Tiffin, OH (slightly less than two hours west of Cleveland), and have used your videos quite frequently to gain insight on many of the places that you have traveled for when I plan my trips. Thank you so much for all that you do to help all of us, other fellow travelers and to share your experiences with us :)

(P.S.) So happy that you brought up Cedar Point. Easily one of the best, if not the best, amusement parks in the country. We go almost every weekend in the summer.

Big, big fan of Cleveland! Great people, food, so much more to do than I ever expected. Didn't love the RnR HoF but otherwise, Cleveland is my jam!

I had a cousin come from Memphis with her new husband. Who had never been to Ohio. He was super surprised at Cleveland, had am amazing time and kept saying "this is nothing like i heard it was" And thats why i like vids like these that totally dispel all the old truisms and old false narratives of the city. Good job guys.

'The mistake on the lake' was specifically the old Municipal Stadium that was shared by the Browns and the Indians. The city is wonderful, and I always loved visiting the Cleve' when I was a kid.
