Wicked weather spawns possible scud cloud over Disney World

A picture captured in Orlando Thursday shows a large, ominous-looking cloud forming over Walt Disney World’s EPCOT park. According to News 6 meteorologist Samara Cokinos, the system was likely a scud cloud. It most likely was a scud cloud as those appear in thunderstorms often and due to lack of “rotation” it was only classified as a scud cloud not a funnel cloud.

It looks like it’s rotating, but since there isn’t any emergency process, and people are just standing out side, it’s probably not a funnel cloud and the “rotation” is just the low quality of the video. Plus, funnel clouds don’t normally look like that.

no no no it was a funnel cloud I was there with my husband. there were actually two of them in different spots at one point. Everyone was freaking out.
