If you're wondering if VCarve, Aspire, etc will work with the Shapeoko, or even the nomad, the answer is a resounding yes. But there's a few quirks about the Vectric post-processor for Shapeoko that you should be aware of. The omission of the M6 command means Vectric gcode behaves a little differently than gcode from other programs. Full details in the video.

Can you update this video utilizing the bitsetter?

After several years of running Fusion 360, I finally bit the bullet and bought VCarve (and Parallels so I could run it from my MacBook). Very excited to join the Vectric CNC world.

I have recently started to try using V-Carve Pro and when I save a file for my Shapeoko in post processor, I choose the Shapeoko inch format. It is saving it as .gcode and not .c2d. When I try to open it with Carbide Motion I get an error that reads "Error in line 1009: Arc Endpoint Error" can someone please help? Thanks

Thanks for letting us know that we have to creat a separate file file from as carbide 3D users. But I do have question, like if my first step is to face the material, then the second step is based on the first step. How do I save the Gcode and operate the carbide motion? Could you give me a video tutorial? Thanks a lot.

If I send the Gcode with Carbide Motion will i still have to add the M6 command? ( I love the M6 function) I'm on the verge of buying into Vectric because Carbide Create has helped me learn but is now frustrating in its ability to play with more advanced workflow procedures.

Only works on files smaller than 20, 000 over that it fails to load. Anything in the future for bigger files

Ridiculous that you can't export multiple toolpaths anymore. So this basically makes the bitsetter obsolete

I'm not buying one if theres no postprocessor for vcarve supported by or issued from you.
