Idk how it's supposed to be going but this is the longest 3 day special military intervention I've ever seen

If Russia takes Bakhmut that opens up 2 Ukrainian HQ’S so I wouldn’t say it’s strategically insignificant, but it’s definitely not worth the resources they’ve poured in to the offensive

They wanted to try to make progress before the tanks and Bradley's start rolling in. Little did they know leopard 2 is already there.

Bakhmut had over 70, 000 inhabitants prior to the war. It now has about 2000. Well done Vlad, destruction is all you are capable of.

Here's two things that I think could happen

A. Russia loses the war and descends into civil war or revolution

B. Russia wins war and starts WW3

If a attack launches on time, it launched too late

Bakhmut actually is strategically important, because the town is vital for the rail connection between the west, north and south. Without this connection, the Ukrainians do not have the capability for easy and endless supplies to the frontline anymore. To be fair, the rail triangle is located over Bakhmut (in the north of the town) but thats actually the part which the Russians already captured some time ago. So you can say they achieved their real goal already. Bakhmut itself would be rather a symbolic win, but also strenghten Russian defense capabilities over the area + give them the possibility to use the rail system entirely for themselves - as you know, Russian logistics is only built on trains lol.

What I've learned from Russian strategy.

"If you haven't achieved the objective, you haven't sent enough young men to die for your leaders greed.

From what I've heard the tanks are waiting for a breakthrough before charging in.

Or they've learned from the previous skirmishes that the tanks were rolling targets and are clearing areas with I factory and only using armor when absolutley necessary until there's a firm response to drones and javelins. Why waste lives? Common sense. They're Russians, not idiots.

How come NO ONE knows, In these regions, thawed ground means you are confined to roads with tanks and heavy trucks, and that is a massive risk. Trains don't need warm weather to run fine. What is this "spring comes and then they will be resupplied"...? The movement of goods is happening NOW ...before the thaw.

I know I’m a long way away from the action but I honestly thought the HUGE offensive from Russia was still waiting to take place.
I was expecting a shock and awe type scenario.

Not even close! 😐
