My husband and myself had the honour of seeing KD live in Glasgow a few years back. We could have seen her in our home town of London but chose to fly to Glasgow as we find the audiences there are much more receptive & appreciative of great music and fantastic artists.
If ever you wanted to be moved to tears by the beauty of someone's voice, it was that night.
I believe it was her rendition of 'Hallalujah' AND possibly 'Helpless' that had me welling up from the off, to the point that l could have sobbed.
I'm not an overly emotional ol' bird regarding most things. But that woman's voice is just so pure.
She deserves every Award she's ever been given.
Thank You KD for giving us such a wonderful memory of that night 👏 ❤
