Xperia Fan you need to make the same comparison with S7, iPhone and some other phones.Because most reviewer and hatters always talking s*** about overheating problem with Xperia smartphones but they never mention that most other phones limits the 4K recording to avoid overheat.
You also need to test the 1080p @60fps with other phones so we can know how bad is the overheating issue with Xperia X.

I have never really used my phones camera for video. Really don't take many pics either but decided try out 4K on my Z3 see how it did.
Mine just recorded a 11:28 clip. Weird that i got the over heating initial message at like 5 minutes but then it doubled that.

Also was the phone suppose to feel really hot? If anything it was maybe slightly warm. Is this normal length for Z3 people? I am running beta builds btw not sure how much that effects it.

The xperia z5 had this bad reputation in the moment he got in sale, the test showing the machine the z5 is I have one z5 and for is not so diferent of the x performance... Is just numbers in the Make the test whith galaxy s7, lg g5.... Xperia power

z3+ owner here, this is one hot phone, barely i can do anything without heating and the keyboard still lags like hell.

Xperia X is just a mid range device and isn't expected to record as long as the Z5 series. The X Performance should be able to since it is capable enough of doing 4K video.

I think m5 memory is full because it has only 16 gb memory and 10gb available. Can you use a larger microsc card?

as long as it doesn't overheat when taking pictures, for me this wouldn't be much of a deal breaker.. but quite disappointing indeed though :/
