Xperia 1 III - Overheating

Xperia 1 III is overheating while doing almost nothing - just having a video playing in foreground in the Imgur app.

The sensor values shown might be erroneous, but the phone does get very hot to the touch to the point that it's uncomfortable to hold it in your hand anymore.

Hello my friend, I was really concerned with this overheating issue specially while gaming, but I asked one of the reviewers and he was in touch with sony, He said they're going to release a software update at the end of week which is going to address these heating issues

EDIT: I don't why this is the case, my 5 ii doesn't have this problem and newer flagship has 😐

I don't know why but i have trust issue with the sd888 almost all of them have heating issue maybe it because samsung? I don't either because i heard they are the one that making the sd888 chip and upcoming ones because there a few manufacter and one of them is samsung and not mistaken 2 more I guess which why they give samsung to build maybe? But because of previous exynos samsung did not receive well comment from people and saying sd is more better which also make me not interested in exynos chip and this years also i have lost interest in sd888 cause the heating issue because it was big even the mi 11 first came have heating issue.btw i use sd855 now and i don't have my copper heat pipe which give me 70°c max temp when playing games or heavy app while i heard some ones says they have heatpipe on it and the temp only increase to 40°c something which is a big difference in term of temp and most sd888 have heatpipe or cooling system so why it heat so much than previous gen? Wouldn't it be more efficient and power saving? Sus
