Everything you need to know about how to use 'want to' and 'going to' in their reduced form.

MY SOCIAL MEDIA:

Do you want to improve your pronunciation? I have launched my British English (Modern RP) pronunciation course! I’ll train you to read phonetic transcriptions, and produce each sound that comprises modern received pronunciation. I’ll also teach you how to implement the correct use of intonation, stress, rhythm, connected speech, and much more. We’ll compare similar sounds, and look at tricky topics like the glottal stop and the dark L.
Technically, I need to mark this as an AD even though it is my own company so - AD :)

I'm a native British English speaker (and massive linguaphile), and I honestly love your videos because they are fascinating to help understand my own language! So many grammatical things (verbs/tenses etc) that I never even consider until you explain them and then I'm like, 'oh god, poor everyone trying to learn my stupid language'. *weeps for the world*

This is colloquial. Don't use it in exams or in formal situations! This would also be frowned upon by upper-class and upper-middle-class people.

Also important that 'gonna' can't be used in the place of 'going to' on its own - 'I'm gonna the shop' is incorrect! Always must be used as part of the infinitive. I'm going [to watch] = I'm gonna watch.

Hi Lucy, I watched all of your videos last night (I'm living in Vietnam and that was Saturday night), your videos are really helpful for me (especially the English idioms), the way you teach is also very easy to understand as well. Thank you. :D

Wow this helped me a lot even though I am still learning the language, but it's fantastic to see someone who can correct you all the time. Thank you so much English with Lucy.

I love to watch your videos. I'm from Germany and I think this is great because I can learn very important things about the language. And it's another way to improve my English grades (even though I always get an A)

I don't know why I'm watching this, considering the fact that I'm a native English speaker.

Without a doubt you're the best teacher I've ever seen on YouTube, not only because you're gorgeous but because you seem so down-to-earth and very friendly and actually I like your voice. I hope one day I'll be able to speak like you. You just mean the world to me. Thank you!
