I had inflammatory tissue growing out of my broken molar. You could actually just use tweezers to pull it out with minimal bleeding, but it would always grow back. I'm so glad I don't have teeth anymore, I have a disorder I was born with and my own immune system was attacking my teeth and gums (and other parts of my body). I honestly regret not having them all pulled when I was like 20 when it was suggested, would have saved myself so much money and pain.

I remember going with my sister to an orthodontist appointment and seeing someone getting surgery in the chair next to hers. They were pulling her braces off through a lot of overgrown gum tissue. It had grown OVER the braces! The orthodontist said, "thats what happens when you don't brush your teeth." It obviously stuck with me. Scared me into brushing 2-3 times a day!

Fun fact: had a filling break out of my tooth not too long ago, and it was very close to my gum. This tissue overgrew the hole within 2 days. Dentist just pushed it to the side when fixing my tooth, and it settled itself again. Gum tissue is absolutely fascinating!
