Lot of you people clearly don’t understand boxing thinking it’s just about knockouts and heavy punches thrown. Yes everyone wants to see KOs but majority of matches end up going to the cards and Tommy won fair and square landing double the amount of punches and double amount of punches thrown. If you watch the combinations of Tommy and Jake it’s clear who was going to win Tommy. Jake still needs to learn to use his jab and not his heavy right which he relies on so much.

You can tell a boxer doesn’t have proper mechanics and isn’t ready for serious competition if they drop their power hand every time they throw a jab. Watch how Jake’s right hand drops dramatically every single time he throws his jab. That’s something that should be drilled out of a fighter within their first two years of practicing. When I was training kids it was one of the earliest fundamentals I wouldn’t accept compromises with (along with crossing your feet when moving and backing up in a straight line). I’ve heard Jake trains with high quality coaches, but they must be acting like yes men for the paycheck or something, because his poor fundamentals are inexcusable for how long he has been training “seriously.”

Yea tommy deserves the win no doubt. Jake def kept it competitive & needs to work on his jab. He already has a lethal counter hook but needs more free points. What I find unbelievable is like Deji said both of them went 8 brutal rounds and kept standing.. fk they have huge chins. Logan Paul didn't have killer instinct when he fought ksi and he managed to get a knockdown. Im concerned if Ksi fights Tommy next cos imo he's not even on the same lv as Jake
